Hello Team,

I'm trying to boot into the MOBO bios to change the bios on my GFX card. I had no problem doing this a week or two back, but for some reason now it's not working. I currently have a USB setup to boot with atiflash and the bios file.

Whenever I boot the computer and hit del to get to the bios screen the monitor just stays turned off but the machine stays on running.

I have tested the USB stick on another computer and it works fine as I'm able to boot from it and run atiflash.

I've used the monitor on another computer to do this and it displayed fine.

I've unplugged the only HDD attached to the computer leaving the USB as the only last device to boot from and it still doesn't display on my monitor.

Do you guys have any ideas of things I missed when trying to debug this? What would be your next steps to try and display the bios on your monitor?

Thanks,

TheFuneral

Is the "init boot adapter" set to PCIE? So that i detects the GFX card first? Otherwise it could be pointing its viedofeed to another card. maybe the onboard one. Can you test the card in another computer? Also flashing a GFX card is always recommended in another computer that has a working card of itself.
