Hello all, just wanted to introduce myself. I am new to bitcoin, however I did dabble in it years ago.. I just lost touch and now seeing how it has changed and grown its amazing. It is very exciting to see even the new technology being developed to mine! I am looking in to getting a mining rig (some asics). Any tips or help would be appreciated. I don't need bashing like don't bother, or its a rich mans game now. Its fun to me and quite honestly I'm not in it for the prophet. I started with my GPU, and that did not work out. I came late to the party that is for sure. I have done my homework on how it all works. I get the mining software, and wallets. I just wish that it was easier to convert cash to to coin. Mt. Gox ... Well I don't trust very easily. Any help with either mining tips or anything to know well getting in the game would be helpful. Also any help getting started with some gear.  Wink

New to this Bitcoin and on the forum. Well, since this is the only thread where a newbie can post it, I require approx 1 BTC and seen in other posts about AmericanDesi, Benson Samuel and others. Could you PM me the rates. Also, I would like to understand what is escrow account and what is the benefit of it?

Any help with either mining tips or anything to know well getting in the game would be helpful.

I suggest exploring the world of altcoins. With the new redlists being proposed, I think we'll see an even greater acceleration of altcoin awareness by the mainstream. In my viewpoint, in the near future merchants that accept Bitcoin will slowly integrate altcoins into their existing POS hardware and accept multiple coins using the same equipment.

It might be late for Bitcoin, but there are altcoins out there now only a few months old.

Be careful with altcoins, they are risky at best and 99% will fail eventually. Most of them dont evern offer anything different than Bitcoin and other altcoins.
