It would be interesting to know when did those 67% bought their first bitcoins. I'm saying this, because I think it's a lot more easy to hold now, than it was at the start. Bitcoin is still facing regulation, and we keep hearing those comments on how bitcoin is a bubble and how it will burst, but I think that overall, people trust it more now because there is much more information available.
It's perfectly normal now, to see those stats, and hear investors saying that they are planning to hold BTC for at least 10 more years. On it's early years, I'm sure that a lot of people sold it right away, when it first got to $15 or $20. These are very comforting stats, and I hope that in 5-10 years for now, people will think it's stupid to even consider selling BTC for profit, because it's much better to just use as a normal currency.
