Just got this email from what appears to be an attempted phishing attack, hoax, or scam from an entity posing to be Coinbase.

I've personally done several transactions with Coinbase, and I've never received one from a
news@coinbase.com, trying to solicit deposits to a random address on Blockchain.info without their Coinbase 2 factor authentication gateway. It's always been
contact@coinbase.com or
support@coinbase.com, and transactions never occured outside their website or app.
I'd suggest all Coinbase users remember this bit of info for future correspondence, to avoid any scam attempts.
