Looking for help new to this

Hi, I just loaded Armory version 0.96.3-beta-2b65AC0648
Have attempted to receive funds using wallet address as given.
Funds are shown as confirmed at senders site.
Sender suggest I contact Armory forum.
Sender is UK Bitcoin Market.

I read in other threads in this section that I may need BitCore loaded to make Armory function , is this so?
I originally tried loading a BitCore wallet but after 24 hours the synch was still at 24%ish so I bailed uninstalled and went to Armory. I am not aware of needing BitCore.
Also I see in another post on this forum where the version 0.96.4 is available, how do I update Armory ?

Yes you do, Armory is a fullnode wallet. Just let it run its course.

I will download Bitcoin Core, version 0.15.0.1 is the one shown at https://bitcoin.org/en/bitcoin-core/
Is this correct ? I f so how long might it be before synch is complete ? I know this does depend on Bandwidth & PC but I have no streaming problems with this, so any idea ?

Is this the latest ? I have already got version 0.96.3-beta-2b65ac0648 loaded. Do I need to reload 0.96.0 ?

I will start the download of Bitcoin Core and wait for any further advice.

Anywhere between 3h to a week depending on your machine.

This isn't the official page since like 2 years. Get your releases from btcarmory.com or from the release page of the repo (https://github.com/goatpig/BitcoinArmory/releases). Make sure to verify the signature on whatever your download

I am doing the synch with network right now and until done, if Virgin Media can keep their act together.

It's been a mess, can't be helped. That page belongs to the previous maintainer that shutdown in 2015. They sometimes mirror my release on their page still.
