Restore Electrum Wallet with seed

Hi everybody,
i have the electrum-wallet file but forgotten my password.
i only have the seed for it.

the seed consists from 12 words, gab limit is set to 5

If i do a restore after starting electrum, i receive a "i cannot decode this"

Any help?

you probably made a mistake when writing or saving your seed.
check that all your 12 words are in the electrum dictionary, which is in lib/mnemonic.py
