Hello All!

I'm so happy to be part of this great community and finally after a lot of research and kicks in the butt I finally decided to jump in the mining game. I would like some advice to help set up a Antminer Trio. I'm currently planning on running my miners in my old office space that's located in a big shipping building. I have 4 outlets at my disposal 3 double outlets and 1 single plug in outlet. I'm sure they are 110v outlets but since the building is big I'm sure Inhave the capability to run high wattage without notice.

My question is the 3 outlets of the left wall might be running to the same circuit due to placement and the single outlet runs on the left wall by itself so most likely it's running on a separate circuit. Would I be able to run the 3 Antminers L3+ on that single outlet if I use a Litefuze 5000w step up converter to 240v and connect it to a Delta 2400 watt server power supply. HE ~ Platinum to power them? Is that possible? Or would I run in to problems?

Do you guys have any suggestions?

At the moment I'm running a 9 card 1070 rig using a 750w and 1200w corsair PSU's on a Bestek comercial strip on one double outlet just fine using only one plug.

Thanks Guys!!

First off, each L3 pulls around 900w so a Delta 2400w PSU wont be nearly enough to power all 3.

Second, the number of outlets is meaningless for what you are asking. You need to figure out which plugs share a circuit so you do not overload that circuit.

Rather than wasting money and electricity on a step up converter you can just run a single 1200w PSU to each machine and run it off 110v.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Hey Fanatic26! Thank you for the prompt reply! Does this mean I can use one outlet output per Antminer? The reason I ask because I don't want to exhaust all my plugs since I also have my desktop computer and monitors set up on 3 of the plugs so I'm down to 4 plugs out of the 7 available. And since the single plug is on the left wall it may be on a different circuit. How would I find out if it's on a different circuit if I don't have access to the breaker since my office is a commercial leasing space? As for the Delta 2400w PSU it rated on PrallelMiner.com as capable of running 3 Antminers L3+ according to their site:

$229.00
Delta 2400 watt server power supply. HE ~ Platinum High Efficiency at 94% capable of powering 3 Antminer L3+ Miner. Power supply kit includes proprietary (2) X-Adapter REV:7 , set of (24) 26inches PCI-E 16AWG, (3) PCI-e splitters and (4) heat resistant rubber foot pads.

My best option theoretically is to run them via Step Up converter to 240v on that line single outlet. But I'm all ears to any suggestions. Right now I'm headed towards your direction Fanatic26 and possibly lose acces to the other outlets?

What else can you suggest if I have 3 Antminers, PC with 2 monitors on a 850 psu and a 2 mining gpu mining rigs with each running about 1600w PSU's? With only 7 outlets?

Any suggestions? What are my limitations with a step up 5000w converter on a single outlet?

Are they reliable?
