Bitcoin being successful across the world, involves few scams and risks, which every bitcoiner should take care of.As bitcoin is not merely controlled by any government institutions, this non governmental cryptocurrency attracts many scammers towards itself. Ransom killing, terrorism are many activities that are accomplished by using bitcoin. The only advice to all the bitcoiner is that they never ever share their personal details such as account number or bitcoin wallet password, asked by anyone because no legal institute asked for same. So be alert from scam and enjoy bitcoining.  Wink

Oh yes, and there is a lot of people still falling in those phising emails that we are always getting from those people from a third country, because most times they forget to delete the prefix dot com from the email, lmao.

I dont know why i am always receiving some pishing emails from fake coinbase wallets saying that i need to change my password.

I receive a lot of phising emails from PayPal, i dont know why almost all the hackers are always trying to steal as much pp accounts as they can, it is really annoying because they can not do anything with the money, i mean, you can easily recover them by just filling a dispute.

You would think that this sort of stuff wouldn't happen anymore. It's been going on since the internet first started up and continues to this day. I'm not sure if it's because of lack of knowledge about computers and the internet or its the lack of concentration which causes people to make these mistakes.

Phishing attempts can be stopped by installing a few plugins or by paying more attention to who you are receiving you emails from.

Exactly, I worked for a giant ISP company as a technical support before and you will be suprised on how many people are still victimized by this phising websites. These scammers are getting smarter and smarter everyday. They also need to pay attention on links that they click on their social media. I also have a case that they called and asked the poor old lady to login her bank account. ISP shoul campaign more about this to lessen the possible victims.
