if you trade alt now is the right time, some alt already start pump and I believe this trend continues until segwit2x happen.

To find out which altcoin is the good option to invest in is very difficult, it'll take you a lot of time to know the way to find it out. At first you need to learn how to analyze the market, collect news and signal,..., if you can't do it yourself you can ask other traders about it, but if you ask them about good coin to invest in they will not share it for you free, then when you have enough knowledge about it I think you can easily find out the good one.

If you are a trader you can trade any coin, either legit or scam but don't make mistake of holding any coin long term because I have seen so many projects that have not seen active development for a year

lot of altcoins are available in current market. But alcoin is not a popular in market. Few of them are know about the alcoin. ICO also closed in August 28 2017.Before that all of the members are discuss after none of them is care about the alcoin. which coin is discuss in current market is good for current scenario. But future we don't predict or expect the value. You ask altcoin or alcoin all are suitable for same.

If you are thinking of investing into alternative coins or ICOs, now is the best time to do so. Simply because prices are really about tonhit an all time high.

For the question, i think you should do your own research about what coins are best to invest in today. Because it is something that you really need to learn to survive in the crypto world. You cannot just rely always on other people's opinions.

Go look for coins/tokens that have an amazing concept, white paper, and developers. Also, it would ge nice to take their websites into consideration.
