The price on Kraken for BTC is currently 20% less than GDAX in GBP.

Is there any reason why I wouldn't buy on Kraken, transfer to GDAX and sell for a 20% profit?

Seems to easy be true?

This is called "arbitrage". Yes, it is possible, but you have to factor in transfer times.

Not currently.

I do have a Fidor bank in Germany so can deposit instantly.

Just seeing if it was a good idea. There is a 20% discrepancy in price between the two.

So I could theoretically deposit £20k to Kraken, buy bitcoin, transfer it to GDAX, sell it and make £4k?

There must be a catch?
