If you are using electrum, try re-installing from seed.
Not sure I could say anything else, I hope it helps.
Can't guarantee it will work either... it's a far cry in the dark to try but worth the shot.
I've seen and done some pretty uncanny recoveries myself.
Until the BitcoinTalk community can rally behind a solution, you're better off to wait.
You cannot lose those coins through age, they are yours forever; well, unless you give away your keys.
If you're going to learn anything out of this, learn this:
The Golden Rule: Thou Shalt Not Giveth Thy Privath Keys, To Anyone Unless You Know Them Like Thy Mother Knows You.
You can't be too trusting in this business, everyone's out to get ya.
Remember the 1,800's Gold Rush, if you know anything about it.... most who made fortunes, never made it home.
It's not your gold until it's in your possession... if you let anyone else appropriate your assets, you deserve to lose them.
Hoped there was something else I could do but I doubt it; once you give away private keys, you're at someone else's mercy.
All the best to ya...
