Ergo "whoring" yourself, ergo contributes to spam.
Also, offering someone his/her service for a cheaper rate is not "whoring oneself" out, and freelancers from different parts of the world would likely say the same.
That's exactly what it is.
I've encountered several people asking for a high rate in exchange of their "amazing" services yet always delivered half-baked results with many compromises done on their tasks, so generalizing that someone who asks for a cheaper rate for their services won't deliver better results than those who asks for a fortune is plainly wrong.
You're comparing things from fields that are not relevant. You should be well aware that there isn't a single manager here that is both cheap and good at what they do.
I know I'm not one of the prominent guys around like you but that doesn't mean I don't understand how the market goes.
Given that you've offered a fixed price for a variable workload says the opposite. You have a flawed understanding of markets.
