I'm quite new to cryptoworld and this trading thing seems interesting but before jumping in to that, I'd like to know what kind of profits can you expect? For me, trading bitcoin to altcoins would be possible, or possibly bitcoin to fiat. What kind or profits have you generated in percents, please. For a month (or week, or year?)

I do daytrading altcoin to btc. I've had months when I generated 500-1000% in relation to fiat (april, may, june 2017). I've had months when I lost. Most I lost was may be 20% per month.

the volatility of BTC will (normally) be a lot higher than fiat.
I trade BTC and hedge with fiat / XAU.
It's up to you to define hedging %age. i do 20% but that's because I'm happy to take 80% swings. Hope that helps.
