The cards were $499, which I know is over their $399 price tag from last week (sob) but tis' what it tis'...

Purchased
(4) Sapphire Vega 56
(1) Asus Prime 270-P mobo
(2) EVGA G3 750W psu (w/ATX dual cable) (Probs overkill, eh? but not much more than the 1000W which felt underpowered)
(1) Cyberpower 20A PDU strip (110v) with Surge
(2) 2-pack 2-8Pin to 6+2-pin splitter cable (I hope I got this right for the dual -Vega power needs (though with 2PSUs I can power them with dual cords...)
(1) 120GB SSD

Still Need
-CPU (the one I added said arrived between 2-28 days (wtf amazon) so will go source another
-RAM (not happy about spending $51 on stupid 4GB of ram! 2x as much as this summer).
-Another kitchen rack.

Have risers left over from last builds.

My current two rigs are Ubuntu, but it sounds like I'm going to have to use Win10 for Vega. So that is going to be a switch. I used it to tune cards for BIOS flashes before, but not with more than 1 GPU. Adventure...

What else am I missing? Besides my sanity

Only thing I would suggest is 6pin to 6+2pin splitters, or if you are sure you are only splitting 8pins might as well get 8pin to 6+2pins so they have more versatility.

Yes, they are actually 8 -> 6+2

Well the VEGA has two 8-pin ports. But from what I read you can combine them linto one into the PSU..

at least I hope I read that right.
