Questions about stocking token at your wallet

To all the legendary, the veterans who spend years studying the world of bitcoins and cryptocurrency as well altcoins please take time to answer my questions.

I want to ask this in the thread that is created already but I not get any reply by any chances because some people just answers the topic of the OP. Really I post questions in different threads and half of it let say not seeing my post. So here are my questions

1. Is fine that I save my coins, the different tokens at my specified wallet ? did someone experience this or rather did this thing that I am asking about.

2. Well be it forever safe?

3. It can possible that someone will hack it? I am really asking question because I am decided to gather it and not exchange it for etheruem.

4. Is it much better if I exchange my token the altcoin into Eth? Or not?
