Issue with Customs - Need Update

I am trying to bring some Scrypt Miners from china - which I ve ordered on June. What is the current situation of customs clearing ? Do they still make unnecessary problems saying stuff like BTC is illegal etc?

Anyone who has an update about this, please post here...It will be great help for people like me..

Mixed bag to be honest.  Its not yet completely gone.  Got a frd whos miners are still stuck here in Bangalore Customs.   Another forum member told me his cleared. Check with local contacts to see if anything has changed on ground.

"trying to bring"   .. Does that mean you are doing this "in person" ?
Customs still is a pain as my friends UPS shipment is still at Mumbai customs so not sure if there would be a diff while trying to bring it physically.

If not , has anyone tried that option ? I am curious .

I meant I am importing some miners, customs is still messed up as I see many people having trouble with them..may be I ll hold the delivery for another few weeks and see..

There are few traders from Ahmedabad who are getting it thru some how if you really want you can try there..  But i would stay away from ordering from bitmain. Crazy customs, just going to waste money paying courier companies for holding the miners.

Hello who is in Ahmedabad, i mean i live in Ahmedabad, and i searched but i didnt find anyone here who is dealing in mining hardwares, if you know anyone i can go and check. As i am looking for buy Antminer S9.

Also guys i know its not a thread for advise, but just want to know, buy currently Antminer S9, is profitable? Or ill be wasting my money? It costs almost 3L to get Antminer S9. What will be the shelflife, i mean since last few days BTC is getting really high, i am afraid it will not closed or crash??? I am new so any advice will help. Thank you.

Moat of people dont know about mining.. so come with miner.. if they ask just tel them gaming equipment 😂😂😂 uneducated officers..
Better come in trichy airport..
