So, I just went through this guide for setting up a bitcoin miner on my mac:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=14348.0Went through all the steps including joining Bitcoin Pooled Mining, put my wallet info in for payout, and then opened RPC Miner. After entering my info and starting it, I got the following error message:
Could not retrieve work from RPC server.
CURL return value = 7
No blocks are being hashed right now. This can happen if the application is
still starting up, you supplied incorrect parameters, or there is a
communications error connecting to the RPC server.
I've checked the info I entered - I'm using the right worker name, password, etc. Does it take a while to register or connect? What could be causing this error?
