ELECTRUM SOFTWARE download not signed

I mistakenly posted this in "technical support," and realized it should be here.

I tried to download electrum software for windows (I have 7). choices given were:

"Standalone Executable (signature)
Windows Installer (signature)
Note: The QR code scanner is not supported in Windows binaries
Note: Some old versions of Windows might need to install the KB2999226 Windows update"

regarding first note--don't know what it means
regarding second note--made sure I had the update

But when I downloaded the file (electrum-3.0.2.exe) and opened it, windows reports that it is not signed?

appreciate any help!
