Hello All,
Let me once brief out the story of my BTCs stolen by the Hackers.
My GDAX account stopped me letting in on one fine day and I tried emailing GDAX support in this regards. But to my surprise I got a call saying they are from GDAX support[where GDAX support never calls any] saying they would help retrieving the account.
They tried getting on to my system through system connect to check the issue but as it was locked nothing could happen, obviously when you loose access to your system you would trust a call from support and their access to your system.
For a week I didnt get access to my systems and finally got it on a weekend on Saturday and I was fine about it and dindt do any transaction.
As usual on Monday Morning I logged into my GDAX account to trade and looks like my systems already had a virtual access [Iam using Home Network only].Looks like my system was taken over the control. And to my surprise all the BTCs were transferred which was an unauthorized transaction.
So it was my login and Iam on the systems which shows my IP address obviously.I didnt even realize about the transaction for two hrs and realized and then called GDAX support after finding their number on their original website and reported the unauthorized transaction. They started their investigation but as Iam logged in it obviously showed my IP but have done my research and found it on bitcoinwhoswho.com the IP address was different.
Such an insane situation,on one side it was your loss and on the other side the blame is on you.Couldnt come over this but still a ray of hope existing.
The lessons learnt :
1)Never give any info over info and make sure if its for sure support.First thing support people never call you and never ask you for your system access.
2)Never give any of your personal info/private key info/phrases to any one your dont know.
3)Enable 2FA password[ofcourse I had one]/get the wallet into secure zone as much as possible.
More advices and security measures or any help to recover the BTCs would be of great help in this tight situation mates.

its really very sad story, sometimes things just happen no matter how much conscious you're they just happen. yeah, 2fa could help users to avoid such sketchy and trap social

engineering techniques. I hope from now you would be more conscious.

I'm really sorry for your loss. This is terrible news. These hackers that just want to take other peoples hard earned money is what I destest about this space. There is nothing I can ever say to ease the pain you must feel. I agree with the points you raised. We have to exercise extra precaution and the 2FA is indeed very important to enable.
