How to get Merit?

Hi guys!
My current ranking in bitcointalk just up to Jr.Member , and I know I need at least 10 merit to upgrade to the member rank.
But I don't know how to earn merit.
Can everybody guide me some the ways to earn merit?

Continue to make meaningful and educative contributions/suggestions to topics raised, you may also help to translate or write articles and if someone finds them very educative and helpful, you may get merit for that. You do not need to worry about that, just make sure you continue make good suggestions.

Just post useful topics and make good comments that will improve the forum more then you are good to go,  don't spam and Never beg to be given for free you've got to work for it dude
