It's been 1 hr and 30 mins and I am missing my 10BTC I transferred to my personal wallet. The status says "complete" but I still haven't received any. Is coinbase a scam?

ok, I see it in the blockchain now. Does that mean I should be getting it soon? I still haven't received it in my personal wallet. It's been over 2 hrs when I initiated the transfer. Coinbase account says "transfer complete".

What am I missing here? Experts, please help!

Do you see anything in the transactions tab? Also you should have 10 BTC in the unconfirmed section on the overview tab.

In the transactions page (in coinbase.com), the status says "complete" (in green). But my wallet where I sent this to, doesn't show the transaction.

I've done thousands and thousands of dollars of business (seriously, a lot) with coinbase with zero problems. So I don't know what happened in your scenario but I think they are far from a scam.

The address is mine. I have the address listed on my "receive coins" tab in personal bitcoin wallet GUI.
I also tested sending a small 0.02 to another address I made here and it did the same thing. Doesn't show in my account even after 1 hr, when coinbase.com status says "complete". I can find it on blockchain, but nothing yet in my wallet!

Do I need to have my wallet  "in sync" before I see the transactions? If that's the case I need to download a few gigs more before I see the transaction?

I may be wrong but this could definitely do it, look around the forum here, I heard of a way to download it as a torrent or some such.

if you post a small bounty, you may get quicker answers btw, not saying you have to but.... your choice.

Found it,
Try this,

I have not tried this myself, so buyer beware, caveat emptor, do your own due dilli and all that.

In the first post it says "This download is not for those who are already running the bitcoin client."
I am not even sure if syncing all this data will get the BTC in my account now.

Didn't know that, I apologize for the false lead... knowing is half the battle!

Regarding the synching issue, yes I will, have patience, If you can see it on the blockchain and it is pointing ot your address then it will come, let it run overnight, at least 15 hours.

I feel your pain but patience is the key here.
