What could be the factors responsible for the rise and fall of Bitcoin? I will like to know the opinions of those that are long in the world of crypto for the sake of the upcoming bitcoiners to avoid excessive panicking. Thanks

Here are just a few of the many factors behind Bitcoin's volatility:
1.Rate of acceptance is hampered by bad media
2. Bitcoin's perceived value fluctuates
3. Too much variance in perceptions of Bitcoin's store of value and method of value
4. Little option value to large holders of the currency
5. Bitcoin and foreign direct investment in countries with high inflation.

A lot of selling and buying actions globally. Volatility will reduce as market capitalization increase. Maybe wait till it becomes a trillion dollar currency like a national currency. I suspect, by that time, bitcoin might bore me of its stability (stagnancy).
