I understand your frustration, and you actually bring up a very real red flag in crypto: Too much awesome means bubble.  Bubble means: it will burst.
I fully believe 2018 will be much different than 2017.
This will be the year that shitcoins with no value, no innovative tech, or no product will get burned.
So looking at coinmarketcap, that's like 75% of the top 30 coins.
Can you believe that?
Over half of the 30 most valuable cryptos do ABSOLUTELY nothing.

Also, BTC will see a spectacular crash, I think it has another two years, so maybe in 2019.
But the meteoric price increase is abolutely unsustainable.
On top of that, the community can't come to consensus on how to improve it so development will be nonexistant.

I am telling you now I as I gaze into my magic 8 ball: Start creating your exit strategy from BTC now.  Find a way to liquidate it or move it into a different project that will overpass btc.

It seems to me that you have exaggerated when talking about massive invasion of these uncountable coins , I do agree with you partially : altcoins market should be really cleaned up from useless coins , but there are still some bright ones that are valuable & have growth potential .

I have a hard time liking the current crypto market. It has been flooded with useless next gen, solid team, new tech, great marketing, new fork (non)blockchains coins/tokens. Every well placed buzzword seems to generate millions no sometimes billions.
When You actually look at it is beyond crap or totally does not match its real world value.  All  "investement" cryptojunkies and 1 day holders seem to want to score the next thing to get them high.  It seems to score pretty high on the same fakeness value as Fakebook and googlemyass. WhoTF does actually need that crap.
I miss the dogecoin days where everyone knew it was just a parody.

The most of the cryptocurrencies will die but this is not happen in a near future. We should to wait and invest in those currencies that will survive in addition with our opinion. Let’s think about it. We have enough time.

While i agree with the fact that there are so many useless shitcoins being bought by the untrained eye, be careful what you wish for. A meteor killing 99.9% of crypto would cause so much panic even bitcoin or ethereum may fail. Fear is the mind killer and anything crypto related hurts bitcoin and other legit cryptos as well.

Shitcoins are like a curse. You can't kill them because you'll die too.

Yeah the crypto are flooded with a bunch of useless coin with no real feature to use, but some of them got a pretty good potential, crypto market now is a hot trend, a lot of people in this world starting to focus to invest in crypto, the market transactions volume generate a billion dollars trade every day, so I think everything still awesome in crypto market

Things are improving thanks to all the new investment money we got in the past year, but we also need to be prepared for a new influx of people that really do not know anything about crypto and that are going to invest only to make money and then when they lose their investment they are going to say that all the market is a scam, we know that is not the true, but I think we are going to see more of that in the near future.

A lot of coins are just a financial instrument and are not something innovative. Investors play on courses using news and advertising.

People nowadays doesnt do researching thats why these new alts are over hyped,shilling without information is stupid,you are right doge days are better than today,but wait it is the year of the dog? is this why doge is getting much attention?hehehe

Every coin have their story that may have a variation from serious , joke, or even scam coin.
Most people especially my friend still not trust on bitcoin or other coin such like doge because they are being manipulated by my government by for me personally, I see something different , something awesome that encourage me to keep investing every month.

I have the same problem, while my profits are not that big since I have not been around for as many years as other people in the forum but I still got got huge profits in the last year and despite showing them that they still think that bitcoin is a scam or a bubble, I'm worried that at some point in the future they are going to regret to not listen to me.

Well at least Crypto has done one good thing, it has helped bring ordinary people into the spotlight and people can dream again about being financially free and not slaves to the corporate elites. I see our family, without crypto we would be jobless and homeless, so yes for people like us, middle aged and jobless, it is awesome that we can pay our bills, keep a roof over our heads and provide for our families. I know many other people in a similar position too. What is crap for one person is awesome for another.

I agree with you. I saw a lot of very ordinary people who earn more than the corporate world. A cryptoworld is awesome, and hope to flourish more in years to come. I think some may become to greedy and they lose money.
