How come inputs.io has no fees, and requires 0 confirmations? I'm sorry but I am new to bitcoin and I don't really understand...

When one inputs.io user sends to another user the transaction is recored on the inputs.io server. No BTC is actually moved but the balances of the relevant accounts are changed. When they send to a non inputs.io user the BTC sent is usually BTC that hasn't moved recently and doesn't usually need a fee.

For the second part (sending to non-inputs.io user) they also actually charge 0.0005 BTC, in part for paying for their service and in part because they attach 0.0001 BTC actually as fee to the transaction - at least that's my experience with some transactions.

Be aware that this all makes Inputs.io very much a trust based system. You're trusting them not to lose your account info, trusting them not to screw the balances up, trusting them not to get hacked and/or robbed, trusting them not to run off with the money, etc. Not a well suited vehicle for your life savings.

I've seen more people lose their btc due to scam/fraud/malware/phishing than to blockhain.info/inputs.io on this forum. but that's just my unbiased opinion.

But people still lose BTC for those online account thefts.
