Hi there JP
I downloaded the Linux versions as right now I am actually working on Linux (I have windows too which I guess is pretty much straight forward from an exe file) so I cannot figure it out how to install it. I clicked on the icon that was named Exodus but no chance of working.
Is it possible this to be installed through the command line just like electrum wallet show us in their website ? If it's not the case I want to tell you to add this option as I think it will not cost much time and will save a lot of users trouble.
Just for the info Ubuntu 13.10 being used.
Hi. Sorry about the issues that you're experiencing. If I had to guess, I'm guessing that you're running a 32-bit version of Linux, because when you click on `Exodus`, it should open up. We've been building a Linux installer
https://github.com/ExodusMovement/exodus-linux-installer but it's not quite working yet. We'll get this more streamlined and working better on Linux. Join our Slack to stay up to date on this progress:
http://exodus-invite.herokuapp.com/You are right as I am using a 32 bit Linux. I cannot go to 64 bit one as I have all my crucial data on this device, the files of utmost importance to me and I don't want to move them to a external HDD (as I can't move them all).
I will do like you say, will wait calmly until you do a better more streamlined version who will support also the 32 bit version. It's very important you do a good job for Linux too cause now it's user base is increasing day by day, especially the bitcoin users (the hardcore ones I am sure use Linux as their OS).
