The
BTC Economy Feed helps people discover merchandise and services available in the bitcoin community. It creates a live feed out of items for sale in bitcoin. Anyone can add their own items to the feed, and anyone can embed the feed in their website or blog.
Controlling spam is major problem of the feed. To address this issue, I will be unveiling a new feature that will allow people to rate items in the feed. The ratings will determine whose merchandise will receive a higher priority and thus appear more frequently. There will be a limit on the number of items that any individual can rate per day to prevent people from abusing the system to unfairly promote their own merchandise.
I will be unveiling the new feedback features in a new version of the plugin in a few weeks. In addition, an early version of the system may be deployed at
weusecoins.com in the near future.
