Figured I'd just make one topic for both the problems:
VTC: I bought some VTC's a couple of weeks ago and put them in the VTC wallet. A couple days back I learned that I should probably make a backup, so I logged into my wallet just to find the balance sitting on 0 and the transaction history showing nothing. Is there anyway to restore the wallet or are my coins gone?
Verge: Earlier today I bought these coins and sent them to my wallet. The blockchain says that the transaction is completed but there's still nothing in my electrum, since my electrum has been on 'Not connected' all day. Online the advice was to download TOR and then try again, but that didn't change anything for me. I'm less worried that they're gone with this one, but it would be nice to have access to them.
I'm a pretty big noob when it comes to Pc-related stuff so if someone could help me out that'd be great. I think I'm better off sticking to the coins that Exodus accepts in the future
