Most likely these are the so called “whales” that are controlling the market. And I think they want big investors to hop on the ride ever since bitcoins price reached almost $20k, so there was a slight price correction and after which I’m sure it’ll increase back again to reach a new all time high.

It is mostly everyone or the new investors who bought at prices higher than $10k they was surely a rumour markets might crash on Christmas. This seemed planned the whales simply wanted to create panic and they surely did that the price only fell by $2k but this enough to cause panic and that is what happened finally happened.
It was short lived but don't be disappointed this sale might return before new year.

i think the same too.most of them want to take profit and rebuy again after price dropp sharply.but no worry about this price action , i am sure after xmas bitcoin will rise again and maybe make new high.
