Anyone have examples of USB powered hubs they are to interface a Raspi with a jally? I have an Anker 3.0 that doesn't work... and an old old old powered hub that doesn't work either. The Raspi cant find anything on the Anker and gets Binary to hex conversion errors on the old unit.

Or maybe someone has a solutioj to use the Anker with a Raspi... that would be awesome... but I have failed in my interwebs searches and I am not a Linux guy.

The jally isn't powered over USB, so you don't need a hub at all.

Its an issue with the design of the raspberry pi.  See http://theiopage.blogspot.com/2012/06/increasing-raspberry-pis-usb-host.html for a remedy.  Also http://hackaday.com/2012/09/10/getting-around-the-raspis-usb-host-current-limit/
