ICOs Are The Weak Link Of The Chain.

With the proliferation of ICOs, most of which have nothing to offer but crappy coins. The weakness of the commercialization of 'Blockchain' is getting more apparent. I think most of these ICOs have nothing to offer investors but are just avenues for people who see the technology as another gold rush era that is not to be missed. A cursory look at ICOs will clearly show you that most of them were packages by so-called 'teams' strictly to get rich quick. The investors are not helping the situation as well despite the fact that nothing is clearer than the fact that there is little substance behind most of these crowd sales. What I see is a cycle of greed on both sides. Investors now see ICOs as a means of liquidation. This is why nearly everyone of the so-called investor dump the coins almost immediately there is marginal increment in value.
As long as this trend continues, it wouldn't end well because conmen and scammers are already leveraging on the melee. The earlier governments take a stance on regulating ICOs, the better for cryptocurrencies that have real worth. I also believe that the success of bitcoin, etherum and the other worthwhile coins whose developers have solid roadmap is accentuated by the lack of direction of most ICOs.

Ico's are not a bad thing at all, a lot of them are offering an incredible things such as new industries, new ways to earn money, new articles, new stuff, and the list is very long.

Because you did not had success with ico's it does not mean that they all are trash, because it is false.

I have invested in a few ico's and i have always made a good research about them before investing, and i can really say that i have never lost money because of them..

And without ico's, maybe more than 7 of 10 altcoins would not been on the market right now, like waves,lisk, monero, neo, etc.

Some countries have already started regulating ICOs or banning them, either way, it will be a dagger in the heart of scammers, governments should hurry in regulating ICOs before it's not too late. Too many people have lost money in scammy ICOs

Is anyone else surprised that Ethereum is still so low in price when there are all of these ICOs coming out left and right that are based on that platform, yet it is only 5% of the price of Bitcoin? Honestly, this surprises me a whole lot. I thought it would be worth more than Bitcoin by now. Maybe in the long term like in a few years.

howver i do agree the ICO space needs some serious clean up.
I hope the space could be regulated in the future and that's the only way to ensure long term growth of crypto world.

You are wrong.

How the fuck can you say that ico's are a weak link? It is not true. Icos are a new revolution, and they are changing a lot of things in the market, it is 100% wrong to say that they are just a pure garbage.

Better to understand how does them work, and how many things they are changing right now instead of creating this crap.

There are fake icos, that is true, but you can not generalize all the icos, because there are a lot of them who are legit and they only want to help to introduce the whole blockchain in the real world, and that is one of the main reasons of why they are being created.
