Short summary:

1. I sent BTC to a bittrex address.

2. The blockchain showed my transaction as expected and the balance was correct.

3. 12 hours later the balance of this address is 0 according to the blockchain and all BTC has been sent to 8 different addresses that I don't know.

Question: Is this is normal behaviour for bittrex?

I'm unable to login to my bittrex account because of 2FA and I'm at a different location right now until next week. I don't have my ipad with me (where I can do 2FA).

I'm using a smartphone portfolio app that monitors my addresses in the blockchain. This is how I found out the balance went to 0 overnight.

Most of the exchange send btc to other account that requires payout, but they doesn't remove the btc from your account
I mean the btc are not on your bttrex wallet but they are on your account, so it should be fine

Think of an exchange as a bank:
You deposit 1000$, the teller puts it in his cash register, and adds 1000$ to your account balance. After that, the 1000$ is no longer yours.
Next, someone else walks into the bank, and wants to withdraw money. The teller reduces 500$ from his account, takes 500$ from the cash register, and hands it to the customer.

Exchanges work the same: the funds are in your account, the amount you deposited is no longer relevant.
