We're in the process of considering the payments to individuals and organizations that create interest and potentially source pre-sale coin purchasers.

I'm not a fan of allocating a percentage of the full ICO to just bounty hunters.  What's a better way to reward?

Normally 2-3% of ICO tokens is acceptable, however if you don't want to issue the tokens to risk inflating the exchanges with sell-offs from bounty hunters, then it might be a better idea to instead reward the bounties in BTC/ETH with 2-3% of raised funds.

Depends on what all you are asking, small projects 2-3% is ok. large projects can go as high as 30%

Kyphon, you probably meant bonus, not a bounty. Bounty is not acceptable at that hights. 2-3% is ok normally. But you always have the possibility of sell-off  from bounty hunters as OriginTrail stated.

You'll kill your project through paying this big sum of allocation to those people who are involved to your project. 30% is going to be in hand of people to hold. I agree with the allocation that was mentioned before around 2%-3% is good already. But you can also try 1% and use this

It does seem that in fact, it really would depend on the type of project and its goals.

i think it will be better when your payment for bounty not just in token or coin but also pay them with eth or btc, like campaign for signature, i think  its gain more member

In this case, there will be more people willing to participate in the bounty, but I think it will not be profitable for you. Usually 2-3% of tokens. This is normal for participation

Its up to u. Varies projects using the different percentage to bounty programs. Actually its depend on marketing campaign and coin pumping mechanism of the project. Some project using the airdrops as their curculating mechanism. At that point there reserved 60% 70% percentage for free giveaways. For ex: ELTCOIN

It really depends on your budget and how much value your ICO has. It may be a good idea to simply have a range of options available, e.g. BTC payment, tokens or improved returns if they invest in your organization.

That depends on the max supply of your tokens. If you have a maximum supply of 400 million, for example, then you can use 1-2% of tokens and distribute it as a reward to bounty participants while on the other hand, for those early adopters or those known as private investors, you can set aside 20% of the tokens for them. The remaining tokens will then be shared with the team and public investors and some of it will be burned and destroyed.

I think 3-4 % tokens should be a reserve for Bounty allocations.
