It seems that what you are questioning has been explained by other members and I just want to share my experience alone about coinomi. at first I was using a coinomi app to store an ethereum token for what I had but after some time I used the app I thought it was too hard to do an exchange for me to make a coher ethereum. some of the processes I need to do such as transferring tokens I have to other sites to have my tokens I can change into ethereum so that in the end I find ethereum storage site that I think is not too difficult to do the exchange that is by using MyEtherWallet wallet site, I thought this wallet site could greatly facilitate me to store my own ethereum just by using the private key we have and to date I still use MyEtherWallet wallet site to store some of my ethereum tokens.
