Coinbase cancelled my account and never explained why

Hello first post here.
I am having problems searching topics because it takes too long. 1 search every 90 seconds
I had a coinbase account for years.
I placed multiple transactions to buy small amounts of btc.
Suddenly, I received an email saying to remove my bitcoins from the coinbase wallet and they are revoking my account.
They did not give me any explanation to why they revoked my account.
Anyone else have this happen? any speculation to why this happened?

They do this, and they did it to me sometime last year.

In my case, I tried making like a $3 purchase of bitcoin from an account I was in the process of closing--it was a stupid mistake on my part, and I think that's why they closed it.  They never gave me a good reason either.  If you use bitcoin to gamble, they've been known to close accounts, and I'm sure they track where the bitcoin you got came from and where you send it to...that's all part of KYC, I think.  So you're not alone, dude.  Sucks, because I liked buying bitcoin from them, and then Circle shit the bed.  Anyhow, good luck.

This has happened to me as well, probably a year to a year and a half ago. I was told to withdraw my bitcoin and that my account would be closing. I believe it may have had something to do with sending funds to my coinbase account from a gambling site numerous times. Since been able to reopen the account and continue business as usual. I've never heard an explanation from coinbase.

Since they did not provide an explanation it is likely that you are not going to ever know what happened, this is the risk we run with centralized exchanges, they are very much like banks in that respect, they can close your account for whatever reason they want and do as they please, this is why I'm placing my hopes in decentralized exchanges, since it seems exchanges are as bad as banks.

Can you post a screenshot of the email you received? That would give us a better idea. Also, what country or area are you from? Maybe Coinbase is shutting down service to some parts of the world because of extra rules and taxes etc. I know some exchanges are now refusing USA customers.
