BCH BTG SegWIt2X exhcnage question

Hi,

just want to clear something up.

my BTC was mined in Dec 2013.

i have moved my BTC to an exchange in the last week.I believe as my BTC were in my wallet i can still qualify for BCH BTG as my transactionID with the exchange proved they were mined before BCH BTG fork.

I would like to know if i am still eligible for and any coin from SegWit2X whilst it sits in an exchange or is it better to be drawn back to my wallet?

I am guessing i will need to draw them back down to my wallet?

Surely i am not the first to want to claim their BCH BCC?

Anyway had to go the IOS / desktop route via BTC.com

Created an account switched the currency to BCC then imported my priv key that i dumped from my empty core wallet.

Pretty much instant transfer, as in 10-15 seconds max.

Now need to wait for the core based BCC wallet to synch / download so i can create a hard copy of the BCC wallet.dat.

One down, BTG and Segwit on november 16 to go.

2017 has been the year of Bitcoin for so many reasons.
