Bitcoin Price Tops $9,000 in Historic First

The price of a bitcoin has continued to rise overnight, passing $9,000 for the first time this morning.
Since setting new highs yesterday, prices climbed more or less steadily until finally passing $9,000 at 06:40 UTC today. The new record of $9,043.21 was reached roughly 35 minutes later, according to CoinDesk's Bitcoin Price Index.

I stopped to surprise to Bitcoin's records few tome ago. I am much more exited that Etherum reached new price's record together with bitcoin. I am investing in this crypto currently. This is not so expansive (yet), but has huge perspectives to take the second place after bitcoin as towards the price as the meaning to the whole community.

The jump from 8K to 9K territory was really fast. Just last week people were talking about how firm the resistance around 8.2K was going to be. As of now we are almost at 9.3K and will be testing the resistance at around 9.5K within a few days. Crazy how fast the price has surged.

I think the real deal will start at around $9800. 10k is such a milestone that people will want to cash out for sure. Many have been waiting for that and will start to sell a bit earlier to avoid the possible crash when it reaches the round number and people start mashing the buttons and sending coins from their old accounts.
I believe 10K would satisfy everyone be it older or newer investors and especially those whose Bitcoins were sitting and waiting for over 2 years. If I had a $300 Bitcoins right now I wouldn't really want to wait any longer just buy some stuff with those millions that I'm holding. Cool

$9,000 is a remarkable milestone because of the popular meme "it's over 9000". This wasn't much celebrated on this forum, but on reddit one of the posts from /r/Bitcoin reached more than 40,000 upvotes and got into /r/all. And it's very nice that awareness is growing, because there are still many people who haven't heard about Bitcoin, but it will still take many years before majority of the population will be aware of Bitcoin. This indicates that we are still in early stage and there's a lot of potential for growing in price and increasing of user base.
