The world would be overpopulated and unsustainable, i think if people were to live forever they should put their mind into the internet i.e. cyberspace and just roam around there in a virtual world instead

To live forever might be boring because you'll have to see your friends die and the cycle keeps going and going. The thing that I want to be immortal is my legacy not my life I guess.

There is a deep reason why we are not immortal. I treat life like a school. Being in the same school forever sounds a bit harsh to me.

Oh yeah, that boredom too! The poster didn't make things clear anyway. Is he asking if it will be cool if all humans were immortal? Or if you alone were immortal? Either ways, the boredom will surely kick in. In the first case scenario, you would see the same set of people over and over again. While in the second case scenario, you would see so many people die that you'll wish to die also. And then you won't really want to fall in love with anyone. Also, you'll have to change your location periodically. You all know how it goes in the vampire movies. Lmao!

Let us say each one of us is given the choice to become immortal. Personally I would choose to be an immortal because there are a lot of things I still want to do. But it would also be nice if I could get to choose when I want to die. I want to live a long meaningful life and if I could escape death by means of human enhancement through technology then I supposed that is a risk I am willing to take.
