But it has been nothing but merry-go-rounds for me so far.

Wanted to order a S9 from Bitmain site, was unable to proceed becos they now only accept BCH (bitcoin cash) and no other.

So i created an account with coinbase, bought the max amt which is only SGD100 (i'm from Singapore) and got myself 0.0065BTC. Yes, thats right its 0.0065 BITCOIN!
Not BCH, so I'm like... Shocked

Next I'm gonna order a Nano Ledger S from ledger wallet (to purchase BCH and store it), and so now gotta wait for it to be ship from EU....

Is there any easier way to get a miner? Anyone with a spare to sell and ship to Singapore?

Anyone has a 2nd-hand miner to sell? I don't mind if its a S9, Avalon 741, whatsminer M3, etc. As long as its working and has hashrate of 6TH/S upwards.

But...i don't see problem here... You can easily use service like Shapeshift, or Changelly, or change your BTC to bCash on any exchange... And simply when you make order, you just send it to their wallet and problem is solved.. You don't need Ledger to change BTC to bCash. If you want to buy second hand miners, look at forums Marketplace > Hardware AND USE FORUM TRUSTED ESCROW. best advice that i can tell you.

Thanks for the reply, cast.

I did managed to create an account with Coinbase (with Xfers), and then Changelly.

However, Coinbase wallet doesn't support BCH, and my newly purchased BTC is now stucked.

On the other hand, Changelly is only providing services such as converting/changing from one cryto to another, it doesnt allow me to store any BCH if I have any.

Can you kindly advise?

Thanks in advance.

For the start best thing if to use Hardware wallet, if you can order them easily go with Trezor or Ledger Nano S, there are other types of wallets depending of ones which you prefer to use, phone, desktop, exchange, paper. it is not adviceable to keep your currency at any exchange because you are not basically owning those currencies, because in order to be yours you gotta have private keys or master seed(12,18,24 words).
