PC mining for bitcoin has been dead since 2013. The reward you will be getting will not be sufficient to even cover your power costs and you will NOT RoI with it. If you are serious about mining bitcoins, it would be better to invest in an ASIC miner, but those are pretty expensive as well. If however you want to mine altcoins, then this thread should be moved to the correct sub forum.

You need to decide which manufacture of GPUs you'll be using in yout rig.
But for the rig confguration you can start with this config:
Cheapest celeron for 1151 socket with cooler
DDR4 4 GB
PSU 1 kv
Any HDD you have
Any mainboard on B250 chipset with 6PCI-E slots
Add some risers for your GPUs and GPUs itself and you are good to go

get a low end CPU  and a very high end motherboard !
I got an MSI  Z170-A PRO motherboard that can fit up to 6 GPUs
You also need a modular power supply from a reputable brand. For example the 750 Watts EVGA I got
don't forget the GPU risers
I recommend you get a cheap GPU on eBay like an RX 480 or GTX960 to start and learn

He won't find cheap rx 480s on ebay cause there aren't any, they sell almost for the same price used as one can buy new 580 from a store. And GTX 960 is a bad choice for mining in 11.2017.

Buying an old used gpu for €200 while they're €250 new in stores is not exactly "cheap". Smiley A cheap GPU from ebay is something like 7970/280x for under $100. But hunting for used 480s is usually not a good idea in my opinion, there's just not enough discount on them right now to justify all the risks associated with buying used (especially for noobs like the topic starter).

your best choises right now is rx 580 or if you can put some more budget a decent 1070 can almost mine anything right now.

Stable build for 24/7 mining

CPU: G3900
MB: TB250-BTC Ver. 6.x
RAM: 4GB
SSD: 60gb or 120gb  but if you will use Linux flash drive 16 GB
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1200 P2
PCI-e Risers: VER 007   picture: https://imgur.com/a/76NMa
Case: you can build your own or buy from eBay

For Nvidia cards, I would recommend 1060 6gb budget ones or if you have more money then go for 1070
For Ati cards, I would recommend Rx 570 or 580 8gb versions.

But the cards can be cheap or very pricey because it depends on where you live and what prices are in your country.
My advice is based on prices that I have in my country.
