Hello,

I have been verified Tier 3 and I did two deposit this week around 2000 euros but my deposit is "ON HOLD".


I am french citizen with holding a german account. I did SEPA Transfert.

The both transfert appears in the "DEPOSIT" section but are "On hold" and I cannot put a trade.

Deposit have been done at the beginning of this week.
Type of deposit is Fidor Bank AG (SEPA) in funding section of Kraken website.

I send already a message to the support.


What should I do ?

When you say a "german account" I suppose you're talking about N26? Better I tell you a lot of people got their account terminated after receiving payments from an exchange like Kraken, so be careful it doesn't happen to you for sending, you never know...

Was it your first deposit? Because the first take a bit longer to get it credited, compared to others. Another reason could be that Kraken blacklisted your bank (there are banks not accepted due to frauds security) In this case they will send it back to you

Hello, Bonsoir LeGaulois,

Thank you for your answer and the detail.

Yes the thing is that I hold two accounts in France but I open this account because it is easy and simple than other Bank (like reference number character, limited in France to 14 and in N26 to 134 char !, and easiest procedure).

Yes the deposit is from N26 Bank. I did two. First have been done 1st of January (On Hold), on 3rd January I have been verified TIER 3 and 4th January I did a second deposit (green then On Hold).
It was my TWO first deposit.

What do I need to do right now? is something have to do ?

The thing is yesterday morning the second transfer was green "successful" but at the afternoon it was on HOLD. The both amount have been "sold" from N26 Bank (it is shipped..."). I dont see this money anymore in my N26.

I think it will be credited to your account by Monday. As I said the first take a bit longer to get it credited and since they are super busy since a month it may take a bit longer. The fact that the second transfer was "successful" but in the afternoon it was on HOLD makes me think that the transfer has been successful and marked on hold for a manual check. So I would say everything is fine (aside you're waiting since a week)

I receive an email this morning from Kraken that it will take "several days": I deposit 2k euros and I cannot trade !

hello
i too processed a sepa fidor deposit from a french bank account.
date 28 th december. since this date the funds are still on hold by kraken and their support reply to any  support request.

Is anyone knows what kraken do these days please ?
