Could Bitcoin futures be Wall Street's way to short Bitcoin lower and lower... to get rid of the troublemaker?

Interactive Brokers' CEO implies this indirectly.

He says Bitcoin futures threaten to become a systemic risk, and Bitcoin might even become worthless:
