Do we need sub categories on the alternate crypto section ?

I think to start and clear up the altcoin section we need at least 4 categories to start with then work on what we need next

I would be happy to work with admin on clearing up the altcoin section
1 coin ann categories

2 script hardware  setup/help

3 alt coin buy/sell

4 other

there would need to be more categories but it would be a lot of work to do in 1 go so start small and achieve the goals set  Smiley

we realy need to get away for the word altcoin it puts people of it

I seem to recall that the Mods/Admins have already addressed this, stating that this is bitcointalk. They said something to the effect of "You're lucky we even let you have this sub-forum, you young whippersnappers!"

if they didn't want to have it maybe they shouldn't have started the altcoin section !

the other option would be to start a alternate crypto currency forum and import all the info from the alt section there  Smiley

I would not mind being admin on it  Smiley

The owner is trying to bring alt coins together. But let the developers have their forums and keep the off topic chatter on the cct forums.

There are only a few that really need their own dedicated forum. Bitcoin is one. But that's just my opinion

I have started a new altcoin forum  Smiley > www.altcointalk.co.uk

( the admin here have made it very clear that they don't care about the altcoin section they would rather delete it than maintain it )
