Hello -

I have done some research and come to a conclusion to post here and require some much needed assistance.

About a week ago i sent BTC from my Multibit Wallet to Armory Wallet - Being ignorant and not doing my research about armory wallet i didn't realize that it needed to synchronize with the network through bitcoin-qt in order to function. So i have a confirmed transaction right now sent to my Armory Wallet but its not visible.

Heres my issue : I have been downloading/synchronizing the block chain for 3 days now and i realize its a long process. Last night when i opened Bitcoin-Qt , i got an error and said it couldn't be opened. It was around 60% complete, but now the client wont even open. Ive tried reinstalling - That didn't work.

I have exported my multibit private keys and imported to blockchain.info following instructions online but my transaction that i recently sent to armory did not show up. Now I'm on a mission to figure out how to export my private keys from the single transaction. I am using MacOSX.

Help ?

Thank you

You need to export the private key of the address that holds the funds, and if I understood you correctly you'll need to do it from Armory. Start Armory in offline mode, choose Advanced Mode, export the private key and import it into multibit or blockchain.info to regain access to your BTC.

Thanks for the replies - I Sent BTC from Multi Bit - Armory and my bitcoin qt has not been unsynchronized with the blockchain. So my BTC right now is not visible in armory. I want to export the private keys and send them to blockchain or multibit.

I went to armory and i am in advanced mode but only see under 'addresses' : Import Private Key, Sweep Private Key.

To get to the actual private keys, you have to go to "Backup Individual Keys" and copy either the "PrivHex(BE)" or "PrivBase58" fields into blockchain.info.
