Hi, everyone. I've been banging my head against a wall on building a litecoin fork. Can anyone assist? I have the repo setup and I want to pre-mine some rewards for the person assisting me.

As far as I know, monacoin is a litecoin fork. You could ask the dev team of monacoin maybe they will be able to help you. Look at their bitcointalk thread, twitter or slack

Just look on github, there is the code for free and you can modify it by your own needs, it does not need much coding since you can do it from the scratch.

But honestly, why are you trying to make a new fork? what is the real "purpose" of that fork?

Maybe you are trying to create a legit fork, but i really doubt that your intentions are just for helping out the community and the whole crypto world.

Why dont you try to hire a coder? maybe he can just do all that code for you in a few hours for a cheap rate, there are a lot of devs like that laying around the service board of this forum.

My purpose is very that I have some ideas about the future of crypto that include how people who haven’t heard of crypto. In general 21 million bitcoin isn’t enough to go around for one and I want to be one of the few that create some useful coins, connecting today’s tech like Wordpress to the blockchian. Are they any developers that want to join my project? Where is the best place on this forum to post for this type of thing?
