I've learned about bitcoin few weeks ago and tbh it really caught my interest but still quite unsure with the process. i'm planning to mine but from this forum i read that there are other options to earn from bitcoin. i downloaded the programs need but i cannot find my address. please help.

Open up your wallet and click "Receive" and there should be a address there.

Hi and welcome.
With a bit more reading you may find that mining is not the best choice. It can be done, but at this point it is quite involved. I find the best way to get coins is either to buy them for cash or sell something for bitcoin.
