I am keeping a notebook of terms I (or any other n00b) need to learn in order to become somewhat crypto-literate.  So far I have the below...any other key terms/phrases to look up?

HODL
GAS
token vs coin
Hard Fork
Blockchain
Cryptokitties
DEX
Tether vs bitUSD
ICO
Bounty
Satoshi
Faucet

Also any resources/learning materials you have found helpful?

Definitely take Cryptokitties off. If you have that on the list you might as well have DOGEcoin on there as well.

I would take any reference to a particular coin off as well. Obviously you need to know the crypto space: BTG, ETH, Litecoin, Monero ... Dogecoin, etc...

But first get an understanding of the technology. How are Bitcoins made? Where do they come from? What is a ledger?  What is the block chain? How are these transactions secure? And so on.

Cryptokitties? That's trivia.

I guess I threw it on because its all I have been hearing about the last 48 hours....thought it was worth putting on there seeing as it sounds like it nearly brought down the etherium network...big deal, no?

Yes. It is a big deal that a silly game almost brought down the Etherium Network. And, it's worth remembering as a bit of trivia along side Mt. Gox and others. But all-in-all it's still trivia compared to understand what a block is, transactions, hashing,  SHA 256, ASICs, etc...
