The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) launched Bitcoin futures on Sunday, marking the start of a new chapter in Bitcoin history.
The launch generated so much interest and traffic though, that the interface crashed almost as soon as trading went live. CBOE were insistent that this hadn’t ruined the launch though, announcing on Twitter, that “Orderly trading on all CBOE exchanges continues, and intermittent website delays have had no impact on trading activity.”
