I am seeing more and more people with personalised BTC addresses. As in the first few letters are 1hAppy or 1smuRF.

How do i get one of these and how much do they cost?

you can use 'vanitygen' yourself.
see link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=25804.0

time taken to find vanity address depends on how many characters you want in it.
4-5 characters is fairly quick depending also power of your PC.

after you've got a vanity address with method above then you need to import private key into bitcoin wallet.
see link for instructions: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/How_to_import_private_keys_v7%2B

They're called vanity addresses. If you just want a short link, you can use inputs.io and claim a username - eg 1v.io/gladoscc

Hi TF

I looked at your link and wondered what it is? Is it an online wallet created?
