According to Coin Police (http://coinpolice.com/gpu/) Radeon 6990 is the best of the best. Unfortunately it wont fit my motherboard (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c01925486) or case. The problem here is I don't have the $1500 to buy a new motherboard, case, power supply and GPU all at once. This card will be muli-use split for alt coin mining and gaming so money isn't necessarily the problem but it is at the same time. It might be note worthy to say I don't intend to upgrade any further than 1 card to run a full time mining system or anything like that. Of course if the heavens open and start raining money then maybe...

Currently running a Radeon 6870 @ 290/kh it runs most games at decent to vary good graphic settings. Although next years games will need more power.

What would be the best option with a budget of $5-800? Or should I just wait for more money to buy a new case, motherboard, power supply, and gpu? $1500 should cover a complete respec maybe $1200 if ebay has good deals (totally guessing here) ?
