Not scam, but a little steal shares. What prevents to use the normal miners and pools?

It's not a scam but is not as effective as the others pools. I also get a lower rates there. Another thing is that there is there is a difference between what is shown on the Dashboard and on the actual miner. Shows higher hash rate on the miner and lower on their website.

Minergate software is not optimized for performance but for stability.

So, it is a good alternative to start with an easy to use miner GUI.
